This position requires a high level of responsibility, independence, attention to detail, and adaptability, as operators are entrusted with the safety and satisfaction of up to 56 passengers during each journey. Whether transporting a corporate group, a sports team, or students on a school trip, every day presents new challenges and opportunities. This role demands a flexible schedule that includes weekends, early mornings, and long nights, but rewards those committed to excellence with competitive pay and the pride of being part of an industry-leading team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as an ambassador of the Anderson brand, fostering positive relationships with passengers and addressing their needs professionally
Ability to drive all vehicles operated by the company in accordance with all Federal, State, and Company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Capability to work a highly flexible schedule, that will include weekends (primary time of demand)
Report to work on time, well-groomed, and in complete company approved uniform
Ability to maintain electronic driver logs on a mobile device
Consistently applies safety procedures during vehicle operation
Capable of completing a pre-trip inspection of motorcoach per DOT law.
Ability to electronically submit company documents and information, such as expenses
Ability to view and accept digital charter assignments and follow through with job as prescribed.
Research locations & destinations prior to departure via Google Maps.
Capable of assisting the loading and unloading of luggage for the passengers when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

Maintains a clean driving record in accordance with the company and insurance carrier standards
Willingness to learn basic mobile applications and electronic devices (e.g., electronic logs, email).
Ability to travel overnight and be away for periods of time ranging from 1 to 5 days
Customer service oriented, with the ability to connect with a diverse range of passengers ranging from school-age children to senior citizens, as well as various cultural backgrounds
Communicates and works well with others Anderson staff
Demonstrates resourcefulness and critical thinking skills, with the ability to address on-the-road challenges, handle emergency situations independently, and report information accurately and promptly to administration.
Dependable and punctual, with reliable transportation to/from the facility.
Must be able to comprehend Military Time

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and LANGUAGE SKILLS:
High School diploma or equivalent
No experience necessary. Anderson prioritizes hiring individuals with strong commitment to professionalism and customer service, then we train our staff for success.
A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) will be earned through Anderson's training program.
As a CDL holder, you are required by DOT Law to be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Must be able to communicate effectively with general public and fellow employees in clear, concise, & professional manner

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to sit for more than 7 hours per day
Must be able to stand for 1 - 3 hours per day
Must be able to walk for 1 - 3 hours per day
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with proper body mechanics
Lifting above 50 lbs is prohibited under company policy to ensure safety standards
Requires infrequent twisting (Based on 15 twists per hour)
Requires infrequent bending (Based on 15 bends per hour)
Requires infrequent hand/wrist repetitions (Based on 2 repetitions per minute)
Requires coordinated use of arms and feet
Both hands are required in use over 60% of the time
Requires (Corrected) vision of 20/20 and have accurate depth perception
Must be able to distinguish between red, green and white
Must be able to hear a whispered voice at 8 feet
Ability to work in varying conditions, including weather changes, long hours, and high-pressure situations
Maintains a high level of mental alertness to safely respond to dynamic situations
