Job Description
Responsible for acquisition, storage, and distribution of supplies for all facilities and serves as a liaison between the Facility Departments and Materials Management. Manages overtime, performance, and participates in all Distribution Activities. Responsible for $72 million plus in inventory per year.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Maintain inventory levels as appropriate.
- Oversee receipt and stocking of supplies daily.
- Oversee picking and staging of supplies daily.
- Help perform daily checks of inventory of required formulary.
- Monitor picking trends including research, analysis, and resolution of issues
- Provides Manager with monthly reports (summary, usage, and KPI).
- Works closely with customers to keep supply miss-picks to a minimum and report issues to staff and leadership.
- Works with staff on implementing processes necessary to achieve and maintain a Fill Rate of or higher on stocked goods.
- Assumes responsibility for other duties assigned by management
- Ensures quality control on Supply Orders (Stock and Non-Stock)
- Ensures repairs for equipment, including but not limited to: pallet jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, vehicles, computers, printers, and handhelds.
- Provides education to employees on changes in supplies and new equipment.
- Creates and maintains various supply reporting spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Completes Personnel Reviews.
- Schedules and approves PTO requests.
- Handles personnel disciplinary concerns i.e., attendance, productivity, harassment.
- Approves time in Kronos
- Maintain records as required by regulatory agencies
- Maintain JCAHO, DHR, and OSHA regulations for supplies, equipment, cleanliness, and some hazardous materials disposal.
- Maintain Distribution Center cleanliness and appearance.
- Serves as secondary contact for outside customers
- Works with Service Desk/Customer Service to resolve any shortages, overages, or miss-picks in stocked items.
- Provide timely communication to customers when service concerns arise
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
Required Minimum Education
- Associate's Degree in management Required or other related field.
- High School Graduate will be accepted with the required minimum experience.
- Minimum 4 years experience in a Distribution environment
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience is a MUST
- Basic knowledge of inventory and/or distribution system
- Recent experience in Distribution or Materials Management.
- Must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language and display a positive attitude.
- Must have strong analytical and computer skills.
- Must be able to work collaboratively with clinical staff and function under stress.
