Job Description



General Summary 

Responsible for performing complex work analyzing business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending solutions to increase efficiency and productivity of the applications supported. Serve as subject matter expert for Infor and related systems, including understanding system functionality, integration points, updates, and limitations. Work closely with stakeholders across the organization and mentor team members in performing these functions. Work is performed under limited supervision. Direct report to the Director, Business Applications.

Principal Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Serve as point of contact to users of supported business applications, and work toward the resolution of complex application problems.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to improve business processes and workflows.
  • Conduct system testing, including creating test cases and executing test plans.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and work with vendors to resolve technical problems.
  • Provide end user support and training, including creating user manuals and documentation.
  • Maintain current knowledge of emerging technology, industry best practices and organizational changes related to the business partners supported.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of their needs and requirements.
  • Manage assigned projects including project planning, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications



Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Business Analyst, Applications Analyst, or programmer role with an emphasis in supporting administrative systems in finance, human resources, or supply chain required.
  • Experience with Infor CloudSuite technology (ION), Process Designer, Configuration Console, Landmark Pattern Language, Web Services, Process Automation and System Administration preferred.
  • Experience with Infor reporting and Birst preferred.
  • Infor Certification preferred.
  • Experience with Infor Cloudsuite and Infor Workforce Management is highly preferred, (Time and Attendance and Multi-View Schedulers) but experience with other WFM platforms will be considered. Example: Kronos

  • Advanced skill in the configuration, maintenance, and support of Infor CloudSuite and Infor Workforce Management
  • Advanced skill in requirement gathering and management with experience writing business requirements documents.
  • Working knowledge in the modules supported.
  • Advanced skill in providing complex application support and guidance to end users and less experienced team members.
  • Ability to quickly assess problems and identify solutions.
  • Advanced skill developing test plans and test cases.
  • Advanced skill in project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously leveraging Agile and Waterfall project methodology.
  • Advanced analytical, conceptual thinking, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced skill developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with all levels of leadership, staff, and vendors.
  • Advanced skill communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely at all levels within the organization.
  • Advanced analytical skills to include summarizing information and clearly identifying key elements, patterns, results, or relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Keen sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work.
  • Advanced skill in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Advanced verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
