Job Description
Day in the Life of an Occupational Therapist:
• Maintains timely and accurate patient records and reports.
• Supervise Assistant / Aide staff as guided by the governing board.
• Designs and fabricates splints as specified by doctors' prescriptions.
• Designs and administers treatment programs to increase patients' (residents) levels of functioning.
• Uses therapeutic exercises and activities to improve or maintain strength, range of motion, and fine motor coordination.
• Shift Notes: Mon - Fri (8 Hour Days)
• Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extensions
Requirement
• 2 years of OT experience - Preferred
• LTC or Rehab Experience - Required
• MO State License – Required or Compact Allowed
• BLS (AHA) / CPR – Required
