Job Description

TIME FRAME: This is a short term, seasonal position.

April 02 - May 14, 2025 (FULL TIME)

In-person interviews will be held on the morning of Saturday, February 15, 2025.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Assist in performing painting tasks as directed by the Paint Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Prepare the work area to ensure a safe, accident-free environment.
• Paint booths, floors, offices, and background panels as directed by the Paint Supervisor.
• Clean and maintain all painting-related materials.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Utilize the Absentee Request Form to accurately report absenteeism to the Festival Finance Office.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive issues.
• Submit any document, computer program, design, or intellectual property created for the Jazz Festival (belonging to the Jazz Festival) to the Festival through your supervisor or department head at the end of each production year or upon request.
• Attend and complete any required training.
• Complete all required Feedback Forms and Final Reports.
• Perform any other work-related duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Painting experience preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and maintain stamina.
• Capable of moving quickly across the field.
• Endurance for long hours in a high-pressure production environment.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
