Part-time Personal Assistant
The Founder and Chief Visionary Officer (CVO) of two businesses is looking for a highly intelligent superstar with strong research, written, and problem-solving skills to assist with various initiatives both professionally and personally. This person will serve as an extension of the CVO to help maximize time and improve the success of various endeavors. This is partially a work-remote role with local travel to the home office of the CVO as needed for projects. The individual must live in Asheville, NC or immediate area.
Under the supervision of the CVO, the Personal Assistant will assist with a broad range of activities ranging from personal tasks, solving problems, assisting with special projects, and a variety of diverse ever-changing items. This is an exciting opportunity for professional development and upward mobility.
Responsibilities
- Completes projects by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, monitoring progress, problem-solving, and making adjustments based on progress
- Online research for various topics (including health-conscious topics) and provide a summary based on findings
- Assist with retreats for property in East Asheville
- Events - various party/event preparations including scheduling and communicating with participants, organizing, preparing food, setup and cleanup
- Research vendors for various projects and manage vendor relationships
- Errands - household orders, purchasing and returning of items, car, and home maintenance, etc.
- Coverage as a backup for Nanny
- Anticipates needs to maximize the time of the CVO
- Assists with various other special projects and tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Highly intelligent with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Quick thinker with a steel trap memory
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Excellent writing skills
- Highly organized with strong project management and multitasking skills
- Verbally efficient and a conscious communicator
- Good with kids (ages 3, 6, and 6)
- High level of integrity and understanding of confidentiality
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
- Efficient and likes setting up systems/processes for effectiveness
- Ability to anticipate needs
- Positive and cheerful spirit
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- Must have reliable transportation, and the ability to commute to Asheville when needed
- Prompt response via phone or email
- Fast and accurate typing speed
- Exceptional researcher with a focus on quality, speed, using good judgment, organizing, and summarizing
- Strong technology skills, including iOS, Android, PC systems for troubleshooting
- Willingness to support areas of healthy living and healthy choices
- Microsoft Office: 5 years experience
