Job Description
- Position Summary:
- Provide a consistent recycled plastic material inventory
- Help identify new potential customers.
- Remote Position
- Roles and Responsibilities: Find and establish new scrap producers and sales accounts (i.e. Tier I, II, & III molders)
- Manage accounts, contracts, and relationships with raw goods producers.
- Make offers to sell company products to plastic processors
- Travel to potential and current account locations to create, grow, and maintain relationships
- Be versed on current market pricing as it pertains to the company's business model
- Negotiation pricing for both the purchase and sale of the company's incoming raw goods and outgoing processed products.
- Awareness of and participation in the company business planning process and cost targeting.
- Travel to company plant(s) and/or supplier/customer plants.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:
- Understand plastic recycling processes
- Understand (or learn) extrusion feedstock requirements
- Ability to cold call new accounts and obtain virtual & on-site appointments.
- Ability to meet new people and create business relationships
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to make offers for sale to potential customers.
- Ability to work from home, self-driven as part of the sales & operations team
- Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.
- 10 - 20% overnight travel within territory
