Job Title: Sales Manager

Reports to: Vice President

Background:

KGB Aviation Solutions is a manufacturer of Flight Data / Cockpit Voice Recorder (FDR/CVR) Data Downloading tools and provides associated FDR/CVR data analysis services. The organization is growing rapidly with an increasing global demand for these products and services

We are seeking a motivated and results driven Sales Manager to join in the growth of our company.

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, building strong client relationships, and achieving revenue and market share targets. This role focuses on developing and implementing strategic sales plans for KGB Aviation’s equipment and services, with a commitment to positioning the company as a leader in the aviation industry. The Sales Manager will oversee the management of a regional dealer network, represent the company at tradeshows and conferences, conduct product demonstrations, and provide detailed sales reports and financial forecasts to support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy and Market Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals for KGB Aviation’s equipment and services.
  • Analyze aviation market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Expand the company’s presence in sectors such as commercial aviation, private aviation, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), and ground handling.

2. Regional Dealer Network Management

  • Establish, manage, and support a regional dealer network to drive sales growth and expand market coverage.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, providing guidance, training, and resources to ensure success.
  • Monitor dealer performance and implement strategies to improve sales effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve dealer-related challenges and work with internal management to negotiate agreements to optimize partnerships.

3. Tradeshow and Conference Representation

  • Represent KGB Aviation at major aviation industry tradeshows, conferences, and events.
  • Conduct live product demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and competitive advantages of KGB Aviation equipment.
  • Build relationships with potential clients and partners during events to generate leads and secure new business opportunities.

4. Sales Reporting and Financial Forecasting

  • Prepare detailed sales reports, including revenue performance, pipeline activity, and market insights.
  • Develop accurate sales financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making and resource planning.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team and dealer network performance.

5. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with airlines, OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), and aviation service companies.
  • Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts with favorable terms for KGB Aviation.

6. Lead Generation and Prospecting

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business leads to expand the company’s client base.
  • Utilize various channels, including cold outreach, digital tools, and networking, to generate leads in target markets.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-up and engagement to move prospects through the sales cycle.

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Sales Manager with proven success. The ideal candidate will bring:

Sales Expertise

  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience, aviation sector is a plus.
  • Exposure to aviation markets, such as airlines, MRO, ground handling, and business aviation is an asset.

Tradeshow and Product Demonstration Skills

  • Demonstrated experience representing a company at tradeshows and conferences.
  • Skilled in delivering compelling product demonstrations to both technical and executive-level audiences.

Sales and Financial Acumen

  • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a sales role.
  • Expertise in preparing and analyzing sales reports and financial forecasts to guide strategic decision-making.
