Job Title: Sanitation Manager

Position Overview:

The Sanitation Manager ensures overall cleanliness of the plant’s production areas. This role is responsible for leading and developing the night sanitation team and ensuring equipment is sanitary and ready for daily operations. The manager will also ensure compliance with safety standards and support employee engagement and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee sanitation operations and ensure compliance with EH&S policies.
• Develop and manage the sanitation department’s budget.
• Ensure all equipment is sanitized and operational before each shift.
• Collaborate with supervisors to meet departmental goals (e.g., USDA standards, sanitation practices).
• Work with the Operations Manager to create training plans and support process improvements.
• Promote employee engagement and foster a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Meat Science, Business, or related field).
• 3+ years of managerial experience in sanitation or related fields.
• Ability to manage physical tasks (lifting up to 60 lbs, standing/walking for long periods).
