Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee HVAC process from inception to completion across multifamily, mixed use & commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering & HVAC systems, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing complex projects in the construction industry. This role will involve collaboration with various stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead and manage HVAC projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications.
• Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting.
• Team Management: Supervise project teams, including subcontractors and internal staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues that arise.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets industry standards and complies with relevant codes and regulations.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impacts.
• Budget Management: Monitor project finances, manage change orders, and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough project documentation, including contracts, progress reports, and final project closeout documents.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project managers and team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of project management experience in the HVAC or construction industry.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation processes, and relevant codes and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and other relevant tools.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
