Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manufacturing Recruiter to manage the full-cycle recruitment process for both hourly and salaried positions. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent to support our manufacturing operations while ensuring a seamless candidate experience and maintaining compliance with hiring practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates for hourly and salaried manufacturing roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions that align with business objectives.
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking, to build a diverse talent pipeline.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates for qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and facilitate interview processes, including scheduling, panel interviews, and feedback collection.
- Manage the offer process, including salary negotiations, pre-employment screenings, and onboarding coordination.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company hiring policies.
- Build relationships with local workforce development agencies, technical schools, and community organizations to enhance recruitment efforts.
- Monitor hiring metrics and provide regular reports on recruiting trends, time-to-fill, and other key performance indicators.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices, employment laws, and compliance regulations.
- Experience recruiting for both hourly production roles and salaried professional positions.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to talent acquisition.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with high-volume recruiting.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their impact on workforce planning.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred).
